The BKE proprietary sound design process guarantees you get superior quality samples. Every sample starts with exotic instruments played my master musicians. The samples are tracked through boutique microphones like Neumann, Goffel and Royer. Each sample is cut on a class A preamps like Anthony DeMaria, Personus, Trident, and Malcolm Toft.
During the mastering process, most of the samples we captured were left on the cutting-room floor. Only the absolute best samples are obsessively polished and approved for use in the Core Elements Collection.

With Autochop it's simple to turn any sound you can sample into an instrument you can play. It's great for creating custom kits for remixes. The Autochop feature will automatically spread any sample you capture along 13 pads. If there are more chops than that it will spread them across all 8 banks.
Enter KIT mode, press NEW and select a pad. Select your sample to be chopped. Scroll to AUTOCHOP, adjust your START and END points and press AUTOCHOP. Set your FREQUENCY and SENSITIVITY and press OK. Now just play your new sampled kit. It works with any 16 or 24bit .wav or .aiff audio file. It's takes about 45 seconds flat.
Building custom kits and instruments is exceedingly easy with Beat Thang. Press Kit mode and select New. Scroll to the sample you want press Load. Select the next pad and repeat the process as many times as you want, until you have the exact kit you want. Name your new kit and Save it. You can fill each pad up to 8 banks.
All the samples are grouped by type for fast navigation and the display screen displays icons for each sample type so you can easily see what sounds correspond to each pad.
Optionally, more advanced users can even pre-master sounds further by easily adjusting the volume, pan, pitch, cutoff, resonance, Trigger mode, delay, reverb, attack, decay, sustain, release, start and end point, velocity, voice group, and keyspan of each sound as it’s selected.
You can build new kits in just minutes. Enter KIT mode and press NEW. Simply drag the samples you like from the library to each pad. Once you're done adding samples just save your new kit. You can even play your kit on the fly as you build it to mak sure you like where it's headed.
Another helpful feature is the ability to pre-master or add effects to each sample as you add it to your kit. At any time, after you've saved your kit, you can EDIT it again. The quick kit building feature is one of the many ways we made it easy for you to spend more of your time creating music and less time setting up your equipment.
